About Horses On The Beach

Festival favorites HOTB’s music moves seamlessly from catchy in-your-face choruses to intimate, quieter moments, and their diverse setlists includes everything from Latin and Balkan Jazz to Hip Hop, Ska and Reggae. Living under the same roof in Bristol, it’s no surprise that their energetic stage presence emanates connection, palpable chemistry and effortless friendship. The lead vocals emanate 'Ska Hayley Williams', the brass section talk power, soul and a touch of giddy energy, while the bass and drums sing along to every song with a bop in their steps.

Recent achievements have been notable and diverse, including being spotlighted as the 'Sound of the Weekend' on BBC Introducing in the West, being selected as Countryfile's featured band representing UK grassroots festivals, and being chosen as the showcase band for the prestigious Henley Festival's Rise Programme.

The Summer of 2024 will see them release 7 new songs - the First of which came out in February: ''Memories''. They are expected to go far this coming year, so keep your eyes out for them on every festival poster in the South-West; they're quickly becoming strong favorites in the Grassroots festival scene.

Influenced by genre-defining acts such as The Cat Empire, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Sammy Rae & The Friends, and Lake Street Dive, HOTB's live performances are a high-voltage experience meticulously crafted for festival atmospheres.  They have shared the stage with notable bands like Feeder, Dutty Moonshine Band, Mister Trick, Tom Mcguire and The Brassholes, Cut Capers and Land Of The Giants.

Over the last few years they're jumped up and down on stages at Balter, The Great Estate, Tropical Pressure, Rock Oyster, Boomtown, Gone Wild, Wonderfields, and Port Eliot, to name a few.
